My approach is a blend of helping my clients find practical solutions and learn new skills, and processing deep emotions and resolving complex wounds. I am proud to offer Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, one of the most effective treatments for trauma.

We will address your most pressing concerns first and then tackle some of your deeper struggles and challenges. Over time, as some issues improve, others tend to surface. We’ll identify ways to create lasting change, not just a quick fix that will only lead to problems continuing to arise down the road.

Therapy should be a balance between the science of therapeutic techniques, backed by research, and the art of genuine human connection. I aim to be a highly ethical, knowledgeable, and empathetic professional who is also compassionate, down-to-earth, relatable, and even humorous.

Most of the clients I serve have experienced trauma, including abuse within their family, relationships, workplace, or religious context. I also support people experiencing life challenges and transitions, and mental health issues like depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations, and substance use concerns.

I went to therapy! It was the most profoundly helpful and transformative experience I’d ever had, and I wanted to be able to do that for others.
