Our work together is not about fixing you. It is about understanding the internal patterns that once helped you survive/succeed. Instead of pushing these parts of you away, we will gently explore how they strive, protect, over-function, and carry the burden of wounds. Through compassion and curiosity, we will create a space for something more sustainable.

You may have a part of you that numbs emotions yet you long to be able to experience joy. You may have a part of you that avoids relationships while also feeling very lonely. Maybe you have tried talk therapy but still find yourself stuck. I utilize cutting edge trauma-informed approaches to help you deepen your connection within yourself.

Someone who approaches counseling with care, curiosity, presence, and a little bit of humor. Through my own counseling journey, I have learned just how important the therapeutic relationship is. Each relationship I cultivate with a client is unique and sacred. I am always in awe of our own wisdom and innate ability to heal through deep internal work.

have experienced trauma, both past and present, big T and little t. It doesn't matter how insignificant it may feel, how unspeakable, or how difficult it is to sit with, it all matters and it is all healable. I love working with young adults navigating life transitions, teens needing an adult to listen, and adults needing to connect within themselves.

I chose to go to grad school to begin what is a late in life career after raising two incredible daughters. It was always lingering in the back of my mind but fear held me back. It turns out the part of me that worried I couldn't do it had nothing to be scared of. I am now doing what I was always meant to do!

I work for a private practice group earning my hours toward my independent license. I work under supervision with some incredibly knowledgeable and gifted therapists. I will be applying for my LMHC in June of this year. I have extensive training in trauma-informed approaches, such as IFS (pursuing certification) and EMDR.
